Duct Cleanings are a wonderful procedure that Kidder offers as well, but it is not the fix all solution to a dusty home. Window companies recommend to replace windows to save on energy bills, when actually over time the savings is minimal. We have found that there are a number of things that can cause our homes to be unhealthy, uncomforatble and inefficient, but we wanted solutions not temporary fixes.

The Whole House Comfort CheckUp is the test we perform to diagnose your homes issues. This test was developed by the DOE (Department of Energy) and has been featured on CBS, ABC, NBC & CNN news, PBS's "This Old House", and National Geographic Magazine. This test has been performed on industrial facilities owned by Walt Disney, GM, MCI, United Airlines and many more. Most importantly it has been performed on hundreds of thousands of homes, just like yours.
Kidder is able to diagnose these problems by using an infitrometer blower door test which redirects the pressure in your home. Once the process begins we are able to locate each spot your heat and air conditioning generally escapes. In most cases these same areas are where pollen and allergens enter your home. The test will also show if your home provides enough fresh air ventilation. Your home could be lacking insulation as well.
